How we charge annual fees
GS1 Company Prefix
GS1 Company Prefix is our basic subscription, used to create GS1 identifiers such as GTIN, GLN, SSCC and GSIN, which in turn are needed to create barcodes for your products and packages.

Single numbers
Single number is the subscription to use when you need to identify one product, one place or party and several parcels.
What you get with a Single number
- 1 GTIN to identify a product

Note! You can only create one GTIN, one GLN and/or 100,000 SSCC and/or 10,000 GSIN with a Single number. It cannot be used to create any other GS1 identifier. If you want to identify more than one product or location or use a different GS1 identifier, you need a GS1 Company Prefix.

Validoo Digital assets
In Validoo Digital assets, you can store and share your marketing and planogram images. The image is linked to the product and trade item information using the product’s GTIN. Once the image has passed quality assurance, it is published and made available to recipients.

Annual publication fees are charged at the beginning of each calendar year. The price is determined by the number of GTINs with published images as of December 31. What you get with Quality assurance trade item information
Accurate product information ensures the high quality of your product data and streamlines the business process for images, sales, warehousing and logistics. For consumers, it means that the information about a product online matches the information on the actual product they buy. Among other things, the check includes:

Verified System Developer
What you get as a Verified system developer
If you are a system developer offering system solutions to companies, you can integrate your system with Validoo. First, you need to adapt your system to GS1 standards and have it verified by GS1 Sweden.
As a verified system developer you have the opportunity to:
- help your customers bring their products to market faster and more efficiently.
- participate in GS1 Sweden’s user group meetings, where decisions on standard updates and implementations in the Swedish market are made.
- provide information on our list of verified system providers, where you can present your system with a short marketing text (maximum 450 characters).
In addition, you will have access to a dedicated support channel for issues related to your integration with GS1 Sweden.

Charging of annual fees
The size of the annual fee is based on your company’s latest annual taxable turnover. The data is retrieved from Creditsafe in connection with annual invoicing, which means that the fee is usually based on reported annual turnover two years back. In the year you become a customer, you pay a fee for the current month and the remaining months of the year. At the beginning of the following year, you will be charged for that full year.
