What is EDI Validation?
EDI Validation is a tool that ensures interoperability of EDI messages between senders and receivers according to the ESAP20 business process. The service checks that your EDI messages such as order, order confirmation, despatch advice, and invoices are structured correctly.
Today, there are multiple versions, interpretations and applications of the same standard. This often makes testing time-consuming and conducted through manual processes without systematic control and follow-up. EDI Validation helps you avoid these problems.

Who uses EDI Validation
EDI Validation can be used by anyone involved in the exchange of electronic business messages, such as suppliers, buyers, transportation and logistics companies, and EDI solution providers.
The service can be used by both senders and receivers of EDI messages according to ESAP20 during initial setup of EDI communication between two business partners, when changes are made to how information is exchanged, and when transitioning from one version of the standard to another.
Benefits of EDI Validation
Increased efficiency: Reduced need for manual testing decreases the amount of administrative handling, saving both time and money.
Security and accuracy: Business information can be exchanged between companies in a secure and accurate way.
Increased data quality: System support for validation throughout the value chain reduces the risk of misinterpretations and other errors.
User-friendly interface: Visualization of errors in the messages makes it easier to communicate with business partners.
How it works
Upload your EDI message to EDI Validation. The service then verifies that the message complies with the ESAP20 standard. If it does comply with the standard, you will receive a confirmation. If there are deviations, you receive information about what errors exist and how to correct them.
