GS1 Sweden appoints new HR Manager from Ledarna

Jane Linebro has been recruited as the new HR manager for GS1 Sweden. Before joining GS1 Jane worked as HR Manager at the management organization Ledarna.

Over the past seven years, Jane has worked with management development, employer branding and change management within the digital workplace and organization culture. She was appealed by the opportunity to join a development-driven IT company where digitalization, change management and societal benefits are high on the agenda.

–  GS1 Sweden was looking for a value-driven leader with broad experience in HR, leadership development and labour law. I will have the opportunity to work in areas that I am passionate about and that is exactly the type of role I want, says Jane Linebro.

At GS1 Sweden, she will mainly be responsible for developing and implementing the company’s HR strategy, culture, and employer brand.

Jane is 42 years old and has worked at Ledarna for 18 years in roles as HR Manager, Management Coordinator and CEO Assistant. She emphasizes her many important insights and lessons over the years both from the day-to-day business and from the change journeys she has been involved in. Jane Linebro further explains her thoughts about the new role:

–  For me, it goes without saying that success and development are achieved through innovation, a good working environment, leadership and employeeship. My role as HR Manager is an important support function in creating the conditions for GS1 to achieve our and our customers’ business goals.

Jane Linebro will be part of GS1 Sweden’s management team and will succeed HR consultant Ulrika Brehmer, who has held an interim position since August 2018.

– Jane will initially have a strong focus on continuing to develop the organization, driving our cultural work, and further strengthening our employer brand, adds Mattias Rosenlund.

Jane Linebro will take up the role of HR Manager for GS1 Sweden in early February 2021.
