Mattias RosenlundMattias Rosenlund has been appointed new acting CEO of GS1 Sweden from May 14, 2020. Since 2018, he has been Head of Sales at the company, replacing former CEO Christina Wergens.
GS1 Sweden has had a successful growth journey in recent years. While the company has developed well, a new type of leadership is needed in the company going forward. The Board has therefore reviewed the organization and agreed to change the CEO.
– GS1 Sweden has developed well. The work ahead, despite the change in leadership, follows the strategy and business plan already established,” says Magnus Håkansson, Chairman of the Board.
Mattias Rosenlund will take up the position as acting CEO of GS1 Sweden and replace former CEO Christina Wergens as of May 14, 2020. Mattias is 38 years old and has worked as Sales Manager for GS1 Sweden since 2018. He has previously held similar commercial roles at Samsung and OBH Nordica, among others.

The Board is immediately launching a recruitment process for a new permanent CEO.
