On April 19, 2024, the SFTI Steering Committee decided that ESAP 6 will be phased out and no longer maintained as of July 1, 2025.
ESAP 6 is a process for exchanging business information electronically that helps buyers and sellers to comply with framework agreements, make the right order and comply with legal requirements for information. At the request of the users of the process, information and documentation on ESAP 6 will remain on gs1.se, but the process will not be maintained.
What is the next step?
The phasing out of ESAP 6 may differ depending on the region, municipality or other public sector organization. Please contact your buyer for agreement on when exactly to phase out the process.
