ESAP 6 is a process for exchanging business information electronically that helps buyers and sellers to comply with framework agreements, make the right order and comply with legal requirements for information.

With ESAP 6, the buyer can be sure to order the right goods with the right quantity at the right price and have them delivered to the right place at the right time.

Since all information already exists in the systems, the invoice can be checked automatically against the contract and price list and the supplier can be sure to get the correct payment in a timely manner.

The process is developed together with municipalities, county councils and their suppliers and is recommended by SFTI.

Help to comply with framework agreements

Both buyer and supplier invest time and money in a procurement before signing a framework agreement. It is therefore important that both parties comply with the agreement. By using ESAP 6, orders are steered towards the framework agreement, and out-of-contract purchases are avoided.

Less administration

All information, such as prices, assortmentand delivery times, is available in the buyer’s system and it will be easy to order from the suppliers with whom the buyer has signed an agreement. This allows the buyer to focus on their core business, such as care for the elderly, health care and public transport, instead of spending time on administrative tasks.

When buyers and suppliers sign a framework agreement, it is important to agree not only on prices and assortments, but also transport costs, delivery locations and order terms. ESAP 6 helps the parties to include all the terms of the framework agreement.
