Validoo Receiver is a service from GS1 Sweden that enables companies and organisations to subscribe to and receive launched trade item information, product images, and planogram images from their suppliers.

5. Usage
Recipients gain access to trade item information and product images by either retrieving the information manually via the Validoo interface or by activating subscriptions to selected suppliers’ GLN (Global Location Number). Once a subscription has been created, Validoo provides the recipient with available images and trade item information for launched products.
A subscription includes:
- Trade item information up to the highest orderable level
- Quality-assured product images (marketing images and planogram images)
- Automatic updates when new information becomes available
Subscriptions can be created for:
- A supplier’s complete product range
- Parts of a supplier’s range
- Specific product categories
A company that wishes to receive trade item information must actively create subscriptions in Validoo. Without active subscriptions, trade item information is not forwarded, even if a supplier has sent trade item information to the specific recipient.

- Use the interface in Validoo to search for and download images and trade item information at the highest orderable level.
- Integrate your system with Validoo and receive information and images in a customised flow.
- Use our APIs to automatically retrieve trade item information and images directly to your system.
6. Prerequisites for using the service
To use the service, you need:
- A GLN (Global Location Number) from a GS1 member organisation
- A signed Validoo Receiver agreement and compliance with contractual terms
7. Management, operations and support
- Standard updates: GS1 Sweden adheres to global GS1 standards and implements updates in accordance with the GDSN release schedule, which occurs approximately 3-4 times per year.
- Continuous development: New features are developed continuously and prioritised according to complexity and customer benefit.
- Operation: The service is normally available 24 hours a day, with occasional planned maintenance windows for system updates.
- Support: GS1 Sweden’s Customer Service is available by phone and email, Monday through Friday.
