The trade item information user group aims to develop, improve and influence GS1 standards and streamline and facilitate the way industries work with electronic product information and information flows.
Requirements for participation in a GS1 Sweden user group:
- The participant must have a mandate from the company they represent to represent the company in the user group.
- Participants should be familiar with their own company’s processes and business systems and have knowledge of the company’s product and information flows. The participant should also have a position in the company that enables implementation of the recommendations made.
- The participant should be able to dedicate working time to the work of the user group, such as attendance at meetings and time to provide internal feedback. Active participation in meetings is required, as well as commitment to the issues being discussed.
