The outbreak of covid-19 presents some organizational and operational challenges for all of us. GS1 Sweden plans daily to be able to maintain as high a level of service as possible for you and your business while we carefully follow information and guidelines from the Swedish Public Health Agency.
The transition may have some impact for your business and we therefore want to keep you in the loop about how we plan and act on an ongoing basis.
Actions, routines and service level
GS1 Sweden is available, but currently limits physical meetings to a minimum in favor of digital meetings. At meetings we follow recommendations for distance and hand hygiene.
Staff at GS1 Sweden work remotely and are available in limited capacity in the office. Staff for photo production and quality assurance are on site in Hammarby Sjöstad.
Classroom training is replaced by online webinars during the corona outbreak. Go to gs1.se and validoo.se to find current courses and seminars.
GS1 Sweden’s Customer Service strives to maintain as fast response times as possible, but availability may be affected. At the moment we maintain the regular level of service.
We maintain all lead times for photography and CGI production (Computer Generated Imagery).
Photography: Lead time: 6 business days.
Photography EXPRESS: Lead time: 48 hours.
CGI and other photo: We keep lead times for ongoing orders.
We are still offering the BarcodeCheck service, but covid-19 can sometimes affect our lead-times.
We maintain all lead times for quality assurance of image and article information.
Trade item information: Lead time: 3 business days
Trade item information EXPRESS: Lead time: 24 hours.
IMAGE and QA PLUS: Lead time: 2 business days.
Delivery to the photo studio
Courier companies or customers are welcome to drop the goods outside the facilities in Hammarby Sjöstad.
