However, it has not been used as an accepted global standard in the entire construction sector before.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Therefore, an adaptation of the regulations for GTIN to the construction sector was needed, for which we in Sweden have produced a proposal. A process is now underway within GS1 to make it a global standard. The hope is that this will be ready during the first half of 2022.
