This helps achieve the highest possible image quality while minimizing the need for retouching. If the product has visible damage or other defects, it may affect the final result and could result in additional retouching costs.<\/p>\n<h3>Common Defects That May Require Retouching<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Scuffed or scratched surfaces<\/li>\n<li>Wrinkled or deformed packaging<\/li>\n<li>Contents whose colour or shape has changed over time<\/li>\n<li>Dented or damaged corners<\/li>\n<li>Crooked, bubbled, or incorrectly applied labels<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If our photographers determine that the submitted sample is unsuitable for photography, we will contact you and request a replacement sample.<\/p>\n<h2>Tips for Safe and Successful Delivery<\/h2>\n<p>To ensure that your product samples arrive in their original condition, we recommend that you:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Place heavier products at the bottom of the package to prevent fragile items from being crushed or damaged.<\/li>\n<li>Package the samples carefully to minimize the risk of damage during transport.<\/li>\n<li>If possible, send two units of the same product so that a spare sample is available should one become damaged during transit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Please note:<\/strong> Samples must be shipped by courier service or business parcel delivery directly to our goods reception. We do not collect parcels from postal service points, including registered mail.<\/p>\n<p>Products With Special Requirements<\/p>\n<h2>Chilled and Frozen Products<\/h2>\n<p>For photography of chilled and frozen products in larger quantities, prior notification is required due to our limited storage capacity for these product categories.<\/p>\n<p>Please contact Customer Service at <strong>kundservice@gs1.se<\/strong> before sending these products.<\/p>\n<h2>Fresh Products<\/h2>\n<p>Fresh products must be delivered by courier. We prefer deliveries to arrive during the morning, Monday through Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Fresh products include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Salads<\/li>\n<li>Ready meals<\/li>\n<li>Pastries<\/li>\n<li>Cakes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please do not send fresh products on Friday afternoons, as the quality of the samples may deteriorate over the weekend.<\/p>\n<h2>Alcoholic Beverages<\/h2>\n<p>GS1 Sweden only accepts alcoholic products shipped from a Swedish sender address. Alcoholic beverages must not be sent directly to us from abroad.<\/p>\n<p>For bottles containing transparent liquids where the back label is visible through the bottle, the back label will be physically removed before photography to achieve the best possible image quality.<\/p>\n<h2>Pharmaceutical Products<\/h2>\n<p>For products classified as pharmaceuticals, only empty packaging may be submitted for photography.<\/p>\n<p>Return of Product Samples<\/p>\n<p>For alcoholic beverages containing more than 2.25% alcohol by volume and for tobacco products, a prepaid return shipping label must always be enclosed. It is the supplier\u2019s responsibility to ensure that the return shipping label is included.<\/p>\n<p>If the bottle or packaging is delivered empty, no return shipping label is required.<\/p>\n<p>For all other product samples that have been marked for return at the time of booking, a prepaid return shipping label must be provided. Alternatively, you may indicate during booking that you will collect the sample yourself after the photography has been completed.<\/p>\n<p>If a courier service is used for return shipping, a business parcel service must be selected, as we are unable to drop off parcels at collection points.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Please note:<\/strong> Chilled and frozen products cannot be returned. Quality assurance is carried out at room temperature, and we cannot guarantee an unbroken cold chain.<\/p>\n<p>Failure to Arrange Return Shipping<\/p>\n<p>If a prepaid return shipping label is not provided as described above, or if the sample is not collected following photography, GS1 Sweden reserves the right to dispose of the product sample at the supplier\u2019s responsibility.<\/p>\n<p>However, disposal will only take place if the supplier has not provided a prepaid return shipping label or collected the sample within 14 days of receiving a reminder from GS1 Sweden.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","support_categories":[222,216],"support_tags":[],"class_list":["post-15916","support","type-support","status-publish","hentry","support_categories-photography-and-image-management","support_categories-validoo-en-2"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v28.6 (Yoast SEO v28.6) - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-premium-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>How do I select a product sample for a photoshoot?
