When you register your GTINs<\/a> in My products, you ensure that accurate information about your products is visible in the global search service Verified by GS1<\/a>. The search service is used by marketplaces and retailers worldwide to obtain verified product information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is My products?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

My products is a web-based service that helps brand owners register and link their GTINs to basic information about their products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The service is included in the GS1 Company Prefix<\/a> subscription from GS1 Sweden, and you can access it when you are logged in to MyGS1<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who uses My products?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

My products is used by brand owners to manage and structure GTINs. By registering GTINs in My products and entering basic product information, you as a brand owner verify that marketplaces and other retailers have correct information about your products. It simplifies the process of sharing data and increases trust in the information about your product across digital channels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you need to add additional information to your GTINs, such as trade item information, the Validoo<\/a> service is available.<\/p>\n\n\n

The benefits of My products<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When you register a product in My products, the product’s GTIN is allocated, giving you an overview of which GTINs you have used and which products they are linked to. When you want to add a new product, you will be suggested the next available GTIN.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you activate a GTIN in My Products, the product with it’s trade item information becomes searchable in Verified by GS1<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Verified by GS1 is a global search service used by retailers and marketplaces worldwide to obtain verified information about a product and its GTIN, answering the question Is this the product I think it is?<\/em> Verified product information leads to greater efficiency in the supply chain and a better shopping experience for the consumer, which in turn drives sales and reduces returns and counterfeiting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At gs1.org<\/a> you can test the service with a limited number of searches per day. If you subscribe to a GS1 Company Prefix from GS1 Sweden, you get unlimited searches logged into our customer portal MyGS1<\/a>.<\/p>\n
