It also includes new rules for beverage suppliers, as well as codes and validation rules that further enhance data quality across many industries. <\/p>\n\n<h2 id=\"h-nya-termer-for-byggmaterialhandeln\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">New terms for the building materials trade<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To meet the industry\u2019s need for structured and standardized product information, additional new terms are being introduced. This is part of the transition from <a href=\"https:\/\/gs1.se\/pressmeddelanden\/byggmaterialbranschen-framtidssakrar-sin-produktinformation-med-gs1-standarder\/\">the Vilma standard to GS1 standards<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Among other things, the new terms make it possible to:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Indicate whether an item is a promotional item or a service<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>describe the order size factor<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Specify the supplementary product class in a more structured way<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 id=\"h-nya-regler-kopplat-till-burkar-med-alkoholhaltig-dryck\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">New rules regarding cans of alcoholic beverages<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">New validation rules are now being introduced for beverage cans delivered to Systembolaget. The webinar is in Swedish <\/p>\n<\/p>\n            <a class=\"btn btn-primary\" href=\"https:\/\/live.gs1.se\/standardrelease-gdsn-3136?utm_source=hemsida&#038;utm_medium=email&#038;utm_campaign=webinar-gdsn-3-1-36&#038;utm_id=hemsida\" target=\"\">Watch the webinar now<\/a>\n          <\/div>\n\n<\/section>\n\n<h2 id=\"h-nya-och-uppdaterade-koder\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">New and Updated Codes<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The update includes several new and updated codes that make it easier to describe products in a consistent manner.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Among the news are:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>expanded code lists for certifications and markings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>new nutrient codes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>improved options for describing packaging, including standardised types of beverage cans<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clarification of Contact Information<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 id=\"h-uppdaterade-valideringsregler\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Updated validation rules<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Certain validation rules have been updated to improve data quality and ensure that product information is accurate, complete, and consistent throughout the entire information chain.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This includes, among other things:<\/p>\n\n<h3 id=\"h-nya-krav-pa-obligatoriska-uppgifter\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">New Requirements for Mandatory Information<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For certain product categories, clearer requirements are being introduced to ensure that critical information is always provided, such as the alcohol content of beverages, the reference amount in nutrition information, and complete information about the brand owner.<\/p>\n\n<h3 id=\"h-forbattrade-kontroller-av-format-och-innehall\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Improved control on format and content<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">New rules ensure that data is entered correctly\u2014for example, that image links are in a valid format (http\/https) and that tariff classifications have the correct number of digits.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For customs codes, please refer to the Swedish Customs Service.<\/p>\n\n<h3 id=\"h-utokade-logikregler\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Extended Logic Rules<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rules are being introduced to ensure that information is consistent and does not contradict itself.
