Eight proposed European standards have been published for public review, and feedback can be submitted until&nbsp;1 September 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-digital-product-passports-a-tool-for-the-transition\">Digital Product Passports \u2013 A Tool for the Transition<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The European Commission has identified DPPs as a cornerstone in the shift toward a more sustainable and circular economy. The goal is to make sustainable products the default, and digital passports are essential to achieving that vision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By simply scanning a product, stakeholders across the value chain can access reliable information about:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Product composition and specifications<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Origin of raw materials<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Climate and environmental impact<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Repair, reuse, and recycling options<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To ensure seamless functionality, common standards are required, and now is the time to help shape them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-why-your-organization-should-get-involved\">Why Your Organization Should Get Involved<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A Digital Product Passport consolidates critical information that follows a product throughout its lifecycle.
