The council focuses on competition-neutral and cross\u2011industry matters that have a broad impact on the sectors. Agenda items address topics such as traceability, value chain efficiency, legislation and regulatory requirements, improved data quality, climate calculations, and interoperability between different actors across the entire value chain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Industry Council works to identify business challenges and opportunities for improved efficiency and the broad implementation of GS1 standards and services, in order to ensure a common digital business language among the various actors in value chains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Members of the Industry Council are appointed by their respective industry organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Industry Council meets in person four times per year at GS1 Sweden\u2019s offices in Stockholm.
