By participating in GS1 Sweden&#8217;s industry group, you are involved in influencing standards and processes while gaining inspiration, increased knowledge and a broader understanding of how our standards work.<\/p>\n\n<p>This industry group is for users from medical device companies and buyers and users of their products. The goal of the group is to enable industries to streamline master data flows for medical devices via the <a href=\"https:\/\/gs1.se\/en\/standards-and-services\/global-data-synchronisation-network-gdsn\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GDSN (Global Data Synchronization Network<\/a>) through a competition-neutral collaboration. GDSN is a network of about 50 data pools that enable efficient and quality-assured sharing of master data. For example, the healthcare sector in the Netherlands was able to cover most of its high-risk class 3 implants, or more specifically 221 000 devices, via the GDSN.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-forutsattningar-for-deltagande\">Prerequisites for participation:<\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>As a participant, you must have a mandate from the company you represent to speak on its behalf in the industry group.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participants should be familiar with their own company&#8217;s processes and business systems and have knowledge of the company&#8217;s product and information flows. You should also be in a position in the company to implement the recommendations made.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>As a participant, you should be able to devote working time to the work of the industry group, such as attendance at meetings and time to provide internal feedback.
