Service overview<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Validoo GDSN Supplier is GS1 Sweden&#8217;s service for suppliers who are connected to <a href=\"https:\/\/gs1.se\/en\/product-category\/gdsn\/\" type=\"product-category\" id=\"401\">GDSN (Global Data Synchronisation Network)<\/a> and send trade item information via a data pool other than <a href=\"https:\/\/gs1.se\/en\/standards-and-services\/validoo\/\">Validoo<\/a>. With the service, suppliers can have their trade item information quality-assured and share quality-assured product images according to GS1 standards to recipients in Sweden via Validoo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-2-target-audience-and-users\">2. Target audience and users<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The service is aimed at suppliers and brand owners who publish trade item information via a data pool other than Validoo and want to be able to carry out quality assurance on their trade item information and want to share quality-assured product images with retailers, wholesalers, distributors or other business partners on the Swedish market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-3-service-content\">3. Service content<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Validoo GDSN Supplier includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Quality <\/strong><strong>assurance<\/strong> of trade item information, barcodes and product images.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Storage <\/strong>of<strong> <\/strong>images.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Image management<\/strong> in the media bank and image production in GS1 Sweden&#8217;s photo studio.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-4-features\">4. Features<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Other features include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sharing of quality-assured trade item information and images in the open ProductSearch service.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-5-usage\">5. Usage<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Validoo shares approved quality-assured trade item information to those recipients who have created a subscription and to whom the supplier has addressed the trade item information. Other connected recipients in Validoo get access to the information once it has become public. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Note! Recipients in other data pools will not have access to product information and images, this only applies within the Validoo data pool and media bank<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-6-prerequisites-for-using-the-service\">6. Prerequisites for using the service<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The service requires:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A <a href=\"https:\/\/gs1.se\/en\/standards-and-services\/global-location-number-gln\/\" type=\"product\" id=\"159\">GLN (Global Location Number)<\/a> registered for use in a GDSN data pool other than Validoo, to identify your company and <a href=\"https:\/\/gs1.se\/en\/identify\/global-trade-item-number-gtin\/\">GTIN (Global Trade Item Number)<\/a> to identify products.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Connection to a GDSN data pool other than Validoo.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A system for entering and publishing trade item information in a data pool other than Validoo.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-7-management-operation-and-support\">7. Management, operation and support<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Standard updates<\/strong>: GS1 Sweden adheres to global GS1 standards and upgrades the service with each new GDSN version release, typically 3-4 times a year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Continuous development<\/strong>: New features are developed continuously and prioritised according to complexity and customer benefit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Operation<\/strong>: The service is normally available 24 hours a day, with some periods of planned outages for maintenance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Support<\/strong>: <a href=\"https:\/\/gs1.se\/en\/about-us\/contact-us\/\">GS1 Sweden&#8217;s Customer Service<\/a> is available by phone and e-mail Monday-Friday.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-8-annexes-and-related-links\">8.
