Service overview <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Validoo Buyer is a web-based service from GS1 Sweden for companies and organisations that want to receive trade item information, product images and planogram images from suppliers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-2-target-audience-and-users\">2. Target audience and users <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Validoo Buyer is aimed at recipients of trade item information from suppliers, such as retailers and distributors, for various business or logistics purposes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-3-service-content\">3. Service content <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The service includes:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Advance information from suppliers in case of range revision.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access to trade item information at consumer, order and pallet level. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to receive information from foreign providers connected to other data pools via the GDSN (Global Data Synchronisation Network). <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Automatic validation according to GS1 standard for trade item information. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Download or subscribe to quality-assured trade item information and product images (market images and planogram images). <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Management of planograms.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-4-features\">4. Features <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Other features include: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>History of trade item information received, including who sent it and when. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Administration of recipient-specific validation rules (requires additional agreement for recipient-specific rules).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-5-usage\">5. Usage <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Recipients can access trade item information and product images by either retrieving the information manually via Validoo&#8217;s interface, or by activating subscriptions to selected suppliers&#8217; <a href=\"https:\/\/gs1.se\/en\/standards-and-services\/global-location-number-gln\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GLNs (Global Location Number)<\/a>, specific items&#8217; <a href=\"https:\/\/gs1.se\/en\/identify\/global-trade-item-number-gtin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GTINs (Global Trade Item Number)<\/a> or to specific product categories<a href=\"https:\/\/gs1.se\/en\/standards-and-services\/global-product-classification-gpc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">(GPC)<\/a>. Once a subscription is created, Validoo provides the recipient with product images and item information.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When the supplier sends trade item information to a recipient, the recipient can access the information both before and after product launch.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A subscription includes: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Trade item information up to the highest orderable level. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quality-assured images (product images and planogram images). <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Automatic updates when new information becomes available. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Subscription can be created for: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a supplier&#8217;s entire range <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>parts of a supplier&#8217;s range <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>specific product categories <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A company that wants to receive trade item information must actively create subscriptions in Validoo. Without active subscriptions, the trade item information will not be forwarded, even if a supplier has sent trade item information to the specific recipient.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-5-1-usage-options\">5.1. Usage options<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Use the Validoo interface to search for and download images and item information at consumer, order and pallet level.  <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Integrate your system with Validoo and get information and images in a customised flow. The system your company uses to receive trade item information must communicate with Validoo using a secure communication protocol. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"3\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Use our APIs to automatically download trade item information and images directly to your system. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-6-prerequisites-for-using-the-service\">6. Prerequisites for using the service<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The service requires: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A GLN (Global Location Number) from a GS1 organisation. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Validoo Buyer agreement and compliance with the terms and conditions. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-7-management-operation-and-support\">7. Management, operation and support<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Standard updates:<\/strong> GS1 Sweden adheres to global GS1 standards and upgrades the service with each new GDSN version release, typically 3-4 times a year. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Continuous development:<\/strong> New features are developed continuously and prioritised according to complexity and customer benefit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Operation: <\/strong>The service is normally available 24 hours a day, with some periods of planned outages for maintenance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Support<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/gs1.se\/en\/about-us\/contact-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GS1 Sweden&#8217;s Customer Service<\/a>is available by phone and e-mail Monday-Friday.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-8-annexes-and-related-links\">8.
