Service overview <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/gs1.se\/en\/standards-and-services\/validoo-dataentry\/\">Validoo DataEntry<\/a> is GS1 Sweden&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/gs1.se\/en\/guides\/how-to-guides\/choose-system\/\">input system<\/a> for companies and organisations that want to enter, validate and share trade item information to recipients who subscribe to information via Validoo. With Validoo DataEntry, you can manage all parts of your trade item information in one place with a direct connection to <a href=\"https:\/\/gs1.se\/en\/standards-and-services\/global-data-synchronisation-network-gdsn\/\">the GDSN (Global Data Synchronization Network)<\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-2-target-audience-and-users\">2. Target audience and users <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Validoo DataEntry is aimed at suppliers, producers and others responsible for creating and maintaining trade item information for their products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-3-service-content\">3. Service content <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The service includes: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Web-based interface to fill in and update item information.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Automatic validation of trade item information against GS1 standards and industry-specific rules.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Publication of trade item information to retailers in Sweden and other countries connected to GDSN data pools.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Error messages when entered information does not comply with global, Swedish or recipient-specific validation rules.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-4-features\">4. Features <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Other features include: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Download of trade item information in different formats.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create templates for similar products.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possibility to save trade item information in progress before publication. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-5-usage\">5. Usage <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Trade item information can be entered manually via the Validoo interface or integrated with your own system via APIs for an automated data transfer. The interface gives you an overview of submitted trade item information and the possibility to correct errors identified in validation reports.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can access the trade item information by specifying which recipients should have access to the data. You can save information that is in progress before publication and you can maintain existing trade item information by updating and correcting it as needed.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-6-prerequisites-for-using-the-service\">6. Prerequisites for using the service <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The service requires: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A <a href=\"https:\/\/gs1.se\/en\/standards-and-services\/global-location-number-gln\/\" type=\"product\" id=\"159\">GLN (Global Location Number)<\/a> to identify the company and <a href=\"https:\/\/gs1.se\/en\/identify\/global-trade-item-number-gtin\/\">GTIN (Global Trade Item Number)<\/a> to identify products. These numbers are obtained using a <g id=\"gid_2\">GS1 Company Prefix <\/g>that your company subscribes to from GS1 Sweden or any other GS1 member organization.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Validoo Supplier agreement and compliance with the terms and conditions. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Validoo DataEntry agreement and compliance with the terms and conditions. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-7-management-operation-and-support\">7. Management, operation and support <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Standard updates:<\/strong> GS1 Sweden adheres to global GS1 standards and upgrades the service with each new GDSN version release, typically 3-4 times a year. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Continuous development:<\/strong> New features are developed continuously and prioritised according to complexity and customer benefit. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Operation:<\/strong> The service is normally available 24 hours a day, with some periods of planned outages for maintenance. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Support:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/gs1.se\/en\/about-us\/contact-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GS1 Sweden&#8217;s Customer Service<\/a> is available by phone and email Monday-Friday.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-8-annexes-and-related-links\">8.
