Fortunately, there is a GS1 standard that points out how to measure products and this makes it easier to deliver accurate information. Use our checklist based on our most frequently asked questions about measuring products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-why-correct-measurements-matters\">Why correct measurements matters<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Your product dimensions are included in your <a href=\"https:\/\/gs1.se\/en\/standards-and-services\/gs1-trade-item-information\/\" data-type=\"product\" data-id=\"6700\">trade item information<\/a> which is the digital information shared with your recipient or retailer. The dimensions in the trade item information must be consistent with the dimensions of the actual packaging.
