Service overview<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Directory is an add-on service to the <a href=\"https:\/\/gs1.se\/en\/standards-and-services\/my-places\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">My places<\/a> feature in MyGS1 that allows you to register and share additional information about a <a href=\"https:\/\/gs1.se\/en\/standards-and-services\/global-location-number-gln\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GLN (Global Location Number).<\/a>  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-2-target-audience-and-users\">2. Target audience and users <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Directory is aimed at companies and organisations that need to share detailed location information with business partners, such as suppliers, carriers and retailers. Directory is particularly valuable for operators with complex logistics or many physical locations.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-3-service-content\">3. Service content <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the features included in My places, the service includes: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Logistics module<\/strong> &#8211; where you can share additional information about your GLNs such as opening hours, transportation restrictions and storage temperatures.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>API connection<\/strong> &#8211; for automated registration of multiple GLNs.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-4-usage\">4. Usage <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can access the Directory in MyGS1 where you can create GLNs manually or upload multiple GLNs with associated information using a template. You can also use APIs to automatically register and manage multiple GLNs. The information you enter becomes searchable in the global <a href=\"https:\/\/gs1.se\/en\/standards-and-services\/verified-by-gs1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Verified by GS1<\/a> service.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Please note that:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Your company may not pass on personal data from GS1 Sweden&#8217;s Verified by GS1 to third parties. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your company must not encourage your users to generate emails or other communications to the contact persons whose contact details are in GS1 Sweden&#8217;s Verified by GS1.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-5-prerequisites-for-using-the-service\">5 Prerequisites for using the service <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The service requires: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A GS1 Company prefix.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Directory agreement and compliance with the terms and conditions, including restrictions on personal data and communications. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-6-operation-and-support\">6. Operation and support<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Operation:<\/strong> The Directory is normally available 24 hours a day, with the exception of some planned outages for maintenance.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Support:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/gs1.se\/en\/about-us\/contact-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GS1 Sweden&#8217;s Customer Service<\/a> is available by phone and e-mail Monday-Friday during office hours.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-7-annexes-and-related-links\">7.
