Mattias RosenlundThe Board of Directors of GS1 Sweden has appointed the current Chief Commercial Officer, Mattias Rosenlund, as acting CEO from May 15, 2020. Christina Wergens leaves as CEO with immediate effect.
In recent years, GS1 Sweden has experienced a significant growth. While the company has developed successfully, a new type of leadership is needed for the future. The Board of Directors of GS1 Sweden has therefore decided to review the organization and to appoint a new CEO.
– GS1 Sweden has developed in a positive direction. Going forward, despite the change in leadership, our work will follow the established strategy and business plan, says Magnus Håkansson, Chairman of the Board.
Mattias Rosenlund will take over as acting CEO of GS1 Sweden and replaces former CEO Christina Wergens from May 15, 2020. Mattias is 38 years old and has been the Chief Commercial Officer of GS1 Sweden since 2018. He has previous extensive experience from senior commercial positions in among other companies Samsung and OBH Nordica.
